Its time for God's people to arise and be the manifested Christ here on earth so - 'When Christ, who is our life, appears, you will also appear with Him, in glory' Ef 2:16

I, Gert together with Sonja, my wife are the leaders of the Rise Ministries. We flow in the prophetic and I am a teacher of the pure Word of God in the power of the Holy Spirit. I love the Word of God and wants to see all God's people flow in power and speaking words of Spirit and Life. Sonja teaches the word and also leads the worship in the ministry in an awesome way. God has called us to bring the Word and equip the saints, and to bring the message of Jesus, how he abolished death and brought life and immortality to light (1 Tim1:10) and that now it is the time for the 'manifesting of the Sons of God!' that is us, his bride, ruling right here and now! Let your kingdom come!

I was born in South Africa and found Jesus at a high school campmeeting for young people. After that there was no stopping in spreading the gospel. (Both Sonja and I preached the good news to our school friends, were called into the respective headmaster's office and told not to preach on campus to anyone!) I intended to study to be a preacher and yet ended up studying law, theology and languages. I met my best friend (after Jesus) Sonja while she was studying music and we got married in 1979. We received the most wonderful 5 children that one could ever ask for!! Working as a lawyer, then later in the Police force as the head of the legal division God promoted me to a very high rank to honour his name and play a small part in the miracle of a peaceful changeover of government. In the meanwhile, we were ever passionate for the gospel of Jesus, wanting to go to France to do a work for God. God's plans was somewhat different and after many years of amazing, innumerable, will-take-pages-to- write, of miracles we came to London!!! God truly prepared us for many years and we were involved with Errol and Suzette Arde in their prophetic ministry for a time, then at Hatfield Christian Church where Sonja was very involved with the worship, and then for 3 years we drove 2 and half hours' drive to Stillfontein, EVERY weekend, to go to Spirit Word - with Kobus and Annelise van Rensburg - seeing amazing healing miracles and thousands of cripples walk. The most amazing being the Word taught - the unadulterated word of God - that totally changed our lives and renewed our Love for Jesus, and the WORD has become above all to us! God speaking directly to His people. The first to come to London was our 2 sons, Stefan and Dian. That sort of lead up to our coming and realizing that this was what God wanted. So we came! God did the impossible and we received our indefinite leave to remain in England! I had to do a pupillage year, but God just closed the door totally, opening a most amazing door for us by giving us time and time to just be in the Word and 'bush' - that is walking in the forest and prayer! TOTALLY safe in this wonderful country!! But it did mean that Sonja and I had to play that is, play piano or 'busk' on the streets and towns and underground to make a living, even through the winters! All the children also had to either cell cds or busk, like Stefan did, and that was how Heidi also met her amazing husband, Sebastian - busking at the London Eye. Dian was in the Marines - another amazing door God opened for him at that time. Now a man of the Word. What an awesome experience and we love it! Sonja and I too, started singing as well and now it has turned into continuous thread, touching the hearts of many, seeing many find Jesus, or just being renewed in strenght and their passion for Jesus! What an honour to be able to do this!! God also gave Dian the idea of starting christian shared houses, which we ran for years, and now is managed by our son Dawid and his beautiful wife Safia. What an awesome God! We had to fight 2 court cases, thousands of pounds, etc and just keep standing on his word - forever his word is settled in the heavens!' and that is exactly what came out last year 2010 October.!!!! We got SETTLEMENT! Now, at last we were free to do whatever we want, and I have no obligation to do lawyer's work any more. In the 3rd year that we were here we felt we had to start with meetings even if it was only Sonja and I. We did that for a while at our house, then later at the music school premises of Stefan and his beautiful little wife, Celine in London Central. Later we rented a small hall at City Temple in Central London, but when that door closed, we moved back to the house, cleared out the bottom rooms, so that we literally live in a 'ministry' - which is where we are meeting at the moment, but only for a very short time still. We believe God is leading us to buy a property in Holy Bush Hill avenue and the greatest adventure, is the RS lounge - which is the building we know we will have sooner or later! The building is right in the forest and on a large street - exellent advertising, and we can sing and make music ALL day and night without anyone ever moaning! that is quite something in London! On the washbasins is the name - rising sun' inbedded! Pophetic - HE is rising! 'The rising sun, with healing in His wings!'The name branding already done and the lighting done! At the moment it is operating as a night club.

Thank you for enjoying all this with us! God is so so awesome! This is the time for his people to a-rise and be Christ on earth! We would want to ask you to partner with us in this work and in so doing, not because we cant trust God to do his work, but that 'it may accumulate to your account in the heavenly realm! And you so, also share in the reward! I am now preaching and teaching and prophecying in a full-time capacity and believe God that it will change and take millions of people forward! As one girl called it - we have a domestic super church! Now, we want to move and keep the superchurch thing but lose the domestic part! With an international emphasis we want to reach the whole of Europe and the world via internet and video and travelling. If you would want us to come and serve at a church or a home meeting, we will be honoured. Sonja and I do worship and teaching and minister prophetically to people.

Special Meetings with Francois Botes in 2012

Jesus is the King of Kings! The Lord of Lords, The Prince of Peace, The King of Glory, The Son of God, The Branch, The Everlasting Father, Councillor, The Way, The Truth, The Life! . . . . . He is EVERYTHING!

We are excited because Francois Botes will once again be ministering prophetically at meetings at The Rise in London within the next few months. We will keep you posted. Francois is known in Germany as "der singende prophet" - as he ministers prophetically with piano and song. He also teaches about dreams and interpretation of dreams, and whatever God lays on his heart!

If you need a prophetic word or are curious about the ministry of the prophet - this is the place to be. Francois has been in the office of the prophet since 1988 and we have personally known him since 1993. He always ministers encouraging personal prophetic words to iindividuals and couples, and we have always found him to be spot-on the mark, not only in our own lives but also in respect of the people with whom we are personally acquainted. Francois is truly a gift from Jesus to us (Eph 4).

This is an awesome opportunity for you to be ministered to - an opportunity not often possible in meetings or large churches.So do take the time to come and be built up and encouraged. It will be worth much more than the effort to come!
